you have to be good on both sides of the ball. the offense is pretty hard to watch, we look like a d2 school on offense, and frankly there is no hope of being good on that side of the ball. the playbook was opened up for this game and it was still terrible. gonna be a frustrating conference year....

NDSU over the last 8 years would finish in the bottom half of the MWC. Just like when Boise St. came over from the WAC they thought they would dominate the MWC and it took them awhile before they even won a championship. NDSU is nowhere near Boise St's level now or at that time.

That may be true but None of Glenn's teams were very good, especially on offense. Two years ago, we beat San Diego State and Boise state - that Bohl team was better than any of Glenn's teams. Now, I'm not going to defend Bohl's record. His first 2 years were "Vic-esque". It's obvious we're not very good now. But Bohl is going to be here for at least this year and 2 more no matter what we do.

I don't know what you want me to take away from the 13 losses in 8 years...pretty damned impressive. if Those exact teams were to have competed in the MWC during those years OF COURSE they would not have dominated. They would would have been tough as hell and disciplined teams that would not have beaten themselves. More than you can say for some of the pokes teams during that time. (God i hate looking at the terrible results wyo has posted in recent history)
