Grand Canyon University makes Oregon St and Washington St look like paupersNot reading the article but can’t wait until Wyoming shares the same conference with Grand Canyon, University of Phoenix, Western Governor’s University, ITT Tech and College America.
What a joke.

Not so sure....with the way that money is going to control the future of college football, I don't see why they couldn't/wouldn't be successfull. I can't imagine Fresno State/Texas State having deeper pockets than GCU.Not reading the article but can’t wait until Wyoming shares the same conference with Grand Canyon, University of Phoenix, Western Governor’s University, ITT Tech and College America.

I’m not doubting a chance of on field success with the ability to buy a team. I’m commenting on where we have come that Wyoming is sharing a conference with for profit online schools with very questionable educational value. Not so sure....with the way that money is going to control the future of college football, I don't see why they couldn't/wouldn't be successfull. It’s quite funny to see people believe in legacy institutions while the world changes. Grand Canyon definitely has a bigger online impact than most universities. Call them a diploma mill or whatever but honestly, most universities are too. The online money I’m sure is fueling their growth. And someone will bring up the lawsuit for something like “deceptive advertising and illegal telemarketing” and think it makes a point. Wyomings enrollment is dwindling and this follows national trend of -36%percent of in person only education in last 10 years although hybrid is up 80% and online only is up 56%. I think the trend of Wyoming falling behind continues while places like Grand Canyon continue to surgeThey have more on campus students than Wyoming.....we shared a conference with Boise and I'm not sure it carries much more educational value than GCU.
