Looks like Dawson to Utah

He got his LDS mission call already? Not sure how much work he'll have knocking doors in utah...

Clearly you're not talking about his football career, you don't have a clue

Pretty disappointing if true...another Wyoming boy who turns his back on the bucking bronco.
Picking Utah over UW isn't a snub to UW. It's reality. Pac12 vs a garbage mwc. Get beat by USC in Rose Bowl, or lose to Eastern Michigan in Ypsilanti.

Plus, Mr Large said Porter Gustin was coming to UW, along with Hunter Thompson.

I know several current players on UW who are LDS, who cares?
I have a great deal of respect for young LDS kids, it takes courage and maturity to do what they do. I know Mr. Dawson will benefit greatly if he serves his church for 2 years. My comment was more of a joke towards Mr. Large and his lack of football insight. I meant that he clearly must be breaking news on something else going on in his life besides football, given Mr. Large's track record of providing wrong information on recruits.

I wasn't trying to mock you or any other member of the LDS church, including its missionaries.

If this is true, I wish Theo the best of Luck. He is a good kid and plays his butt off. I have watched him grow up and I can tell you he has a great resolve when it comes to accomplishing his goals. Good luck to you young man!

Ha HA. No it isn't about true colors but more over about common sense.

There is no Utah on this list.

That said, damn.. it would be REALLY hard to turn down an offer from Yale.. like, really really hard. I guess it depends on what you want out of your life.

What a random list of 5.

wyoming...the state school
afa... military academy
yale... elite elite as elite gets for academics
byu... obvious religious institution.
Stanford... the ivy academics with p5 athletics.
none are like the other.
Like you said, all comes down to what he wants in life. Wide variety of options here.

Actually, four of the five all have something in common.. they're in the top 50 of academic institutions in the country, according to Forbes.

They say the same thing about Stanford, should they offer. If you're smart enough to get a scholarship to Stanford you're smart enough to take it

Not random for a strait-laced LDS kid that can play a little football.

Straight-laced? So, that narrows it down to Wyo, AFA, Yale, and Stanford.

I don't know how you turn down Yale/Stanford academics.

That said, even though I would still say UW's chances are low, in the past two days I have heard from a few sources (who I trust) that Dawson's visit with Bohl in Jackson was very very positive. This does give me a slight hope, whereas just a week ago, I would say there was no hope.

Come to Laramie Dawson!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
