Looking like a 2 bid conference

ESPN just put out about 3 articles about all this stuff. Here's one saying pretty much what I was saying
http://espn.go.com/ncb/notebook/_/page/dailyword150105/daily-word" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The good news is this article has us picked as the default top team in the MWC
http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/page/fourcorners150105/sizing-conference-races" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Bracketology has us in as 13 seed!!! He has 3 MWC teams making it
http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/bracketology" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I feel like that 13 seed is gonna be low if we take care of business and win the conference. If CSU is listed as a 7 that could very well be us or higher if we overachieve. Now say we flip with CSU in this scenario...How many of you would LOVE to get BYU first round??? Consider me on board to beat those fuckers with our most legit team in 12 years. No better time to face off with those super villains.
Count me out of being happy about any scenario where we lend any sort of legitimacy to that "university".

It all works itself out. RPI doesn't matter right now. If we win the regular season title, our worst case RPI will be in the 40's. We have a ton of resume building opportunities ahead of us, with a big one on Wednesday.
This. Still a ton of basketball to be played across all conferences. If we keep winning, our RPI will rise. As others lose, theirs will drop...

This has been an interesting question for our fan base since those fuckers bailed and burned our conference. I'd love to fucking beat them any chance we could especially in a major event and end their season. However I don't think we should ever schedule them again in regular season action for any sport. If we get to face them in the NCAA I'd be fucking FIRED UP :banana: :nutkick: :finger: :finger:
I hate that team more then any other in sports.

I feel like that 13 seed is gonna be low if we take care of business and win the conference. If CSU and SDSU is listed as a 7 that could very well be us or higher if we overachieve. Now say we flip with CSU in this scenario...How many of you would LOVE to get BYU first round??? Consider me on board to beat those fuckers with our most legit team in 12 years. No better time to face off with those super villains....however if they somehow managed to beat us you could cue up the deeeeeeppp depression that is no stranger to this fan base. All hypothetical at this point of course.

That would be sweet for me if Wyoming ended up playing in Seattle. I can take a drive downtown to the arena only will take me about 30 minutes to get there. I hadn't realized some of the NCAA games are in Seattle this year. Damn I hope we get in and play here.

Edit: Looks like they could be playing Portland also. Count me in if they get sent there also. Only a 3 hour drive.

13-2 2-0 so far,
@CSU, with their students gone, helps us quite a bit me thinks we steal one 14-2, 3-0
BSU, this team scares me like always, but i think we'll get it WE DON'T LOSE at home 15-2, 4-0, top 25 votes to come
SDSU, again we don't lose at home and Steve Fischer doesn't have it this year, 16-2, 5-0
@Fresno, I think we drop this one, never play well here....16-3, 5-1
UNM, i think we can get the Bobo's this year.....17-3, 6-1
@USU, we don't play well here either, this one slips late, 17-4, 6-2
Nevada, again we're at home and they don't have Burton this year, 18-4, 7-2
CSU, the sheep will be pissed they've dropped a couple since we've last faced but we get it, 19-4, 8-2
@AFA, never easy but they aren't too good this year, 20-4, 9-2, the roll continues
@SDSU, it'll be closer than most think but we drop this one unfortunately, 20-5, 9-3
SJSU, this time we start out strong and never look back, 21-5, 10-3
@Nev, time for us to celebrate again in Reno, 22-5, 11-3
FSU, we get payback for losing in Fresno, the crowd gets on Ceasar, 23-5, 12-3
@UNLV, we don't play well here, they get us for their payback, 23-6, 12-4
USU, we throttle the Aggies in Laramie,Stew Morrill busts a vein in his head, 24-6, 13-4
@UNM, we finally steal one at the hostile PIT, 25-6, 14-4

And a 2 seed in the MWC, maybe even #1, i know it's a long shot, but we'll look back and see how close I was. LOL
Cmon Pokes

I watched BYU play and even though they lost to gonzaga, they aren't any push over. Collinsworth and Haws are the real deal. I think Haws has been on the team for a decade it seems. Think he was a freshman when they were still in the league

Bite your fucking tongue! You can't compliment those assholes in this forum! Isn't that bannable?

I love that we are getting votes.
Goes to show that people think beating UNLV and not losing to a bad conference team in one week means a lot.

Now, beat the fucking sheep!

Honestly, if UNLV doesn't beat Arizona the week before they played us, I don't think that Nance wins his national POW honors this week. There were a lot of eyes on the Pokes last Wednesday that wouldn't have otherwise been had UNLV not knocked off the #3 team in the country a week earlier. Luckily, Nance and the Pokes rose to the occasion, although I think they could have played better and won by more :D

They definitely could have won by more but UNLV kept draining 3s. If they miss two more, it changes the entire make-up of the 2nd half and they probably start panicking early and Pokes win by 10 to 15.

Don't forget Cooke sat out most of the second half and still hung 14 on the Rebels...

Haws...ah the little prick...let's see:

18 years old, graduated high school
19 years old, played as a true frosh at the WHY
20 years old, mission
21 years old, mission
22 years old, redshirted so he could lose his mission fat
23 years old, RS soph
24 years old, RS junior
25 years old...

But that isn't anything new at that shitfucker school. Most of all their athletic "seniors" are in the 24 - 25 year old range, and always have been.

I was really surprised to see him considering I saw him play forever ago.

Don't tell BYU fans it's an advantage! They always say, "if it was, why wouldn't everyone do it?" Most kids want to play college sports right after high school you fucks

Not only that...but what "they" fail to realize is that the whole mission program is part of the culture and expectation at bWHYu. A 2 year mission is expected, recommended, and anticipated to happen at bWHYu for their student athletes. It is the norm. And it isn't anywhere else (although it is available).

BYU has solid guards that are of course PRICKS. Their big men look like giant shitty oafs that are just there to D and get boards. I think our bigs could abuse those fuckers. I bet we'd beat BYU but it wouldn't be easy. Hell it just isn't easy for us no matter who we play, but we are WINNERS! We find ways to win and grind it out. I think this would be a nice first round game for us. We don't want some monster athletic team that is 7 or 8 deep with springs/speed.
