This is awesome and makes it even sweeter that he's a Wyoming boy too. Congrats Logan Wilson!

I wonder what Tevis Bartlett thinks about that.

I just went back through the recruiting thread from that class, and Wilson's commitment came in the midst of multiple pages of chatter about Bartlett. Hardly anything said about Wilson. Two years in, Bartlett hasn't made many impacts at Washington while Wilson is an All-American in his home state at the same position group.

I know there were other reasons for his decision (P5, medical school), but it's still an interesting development.

If his goal was Washington med school then Wyoming would have been the better choice.

Would much rather have Logan, anyway. Much faster

Tevis was named 2016 Academic All Pac-12 2nd team this year, and has played in 24 games through his first two years.
Not to mention plays quite a bit this year, and lead the team in tackles in the Pac12 Championship game, and in case you didn't notice, he has won a Pac12 Championship and is playing in the College Football Playoffs with a chance to go the the National Championship.

I don't get this whole looking back and trying to stick it to Tevis. I am sure he is happy where he is at. I am sure Huskies fans are happy he is on the team, even though he isn't a star. I am sure Wilson is happy where he is at and I know Wyoming fans are happy with him.

If you want to argue based off of individual stats, then yes Logan Wilson is looking better, it would be silly to think Tevis isn't enjoying a lot of success right now.

Correct. Missed 2 games this year. I assume due to injury.

Super excited for Wilson. Great job and well deserved.

As for Bartlett... yeah, I don't think he regrets going to the #4 team in the nation and being in the playoffs.

I get that. I do. But he's already lost two years of eligibility and has only made an impact in a couple games. Sometimes people wish they didn't waste that true freshman year or that they stayed closer to home.

Tevis who? I'm sure his family is proud of him and some of the Washington fans. Logan is ascending. Good for him!

Tevis only thinks about Wyoming when he visits home, he's long passed us by and that's ok, we're holding our own. Good Job Logan, looking forward to good things the next 3 years!!!!
