Let's go Cowboys! Beat the sheep!

I'm sure glad that when we try to run it on first down it is always right up the middle. We only have done that 95% of our first downs this whole season. The first play of the game we tossed it for a sweep wide for 8 yards. Then we never saw that play again. Yet our first down run up the middle for 1 or less we see again and again and again

Running up the middle on first down is completely fine when your running back makes the cut to have the first defender miss, as there's often a lane right behind them. Several times tonight, Woods has needed to make ONE freaking cut to have an average to a LONG gain, but it hasn't happened. He also runs upright and always falls backwards on contact rather than forward, gaining extra yards.

Those two redzone trips with only fgs is really biting us in the ass

But if our rb has done that the entire year, maybe a different play call would result in a different outcome, rather than pretending the same play call again and again will have a different result with the same player
