Holy shit has it gotten bad.

The movie clips are ridiculous. The music choices are lame. The cheerleading teams - what happened, there used to be like 3 on the field. The flow is just embarrassing. The ushers are like uneducated $6/hr chimps. Tailgate in the AA - are you kidding me?

That all said, our band is OUTSTANDING!

I don't understand the CJC tailgate moving indoors.. I've wondered this for a long time. I've never once seen the GSA (Montana's equivalent of the CJC) move a tailgate from their usual spot outdoors, and we've watched some cold-ass games here (several under 10 degrees).. way to kill a tailgate scene.

All true. However, we have the BEST kettlecorn anywhere. And the addition of Chick f a this year was great. If the play on the field was any good, none of the other stuff would matter.

I'm glad this was brought up.

The in game entertainment experience is absolutely brutal for this day and age - High School programs do better.

The sound system at The War is in major need of an upgrade, in addition, most of the referee's calls could not be heard, the video board is well outdated, and whomever they use as the public address announcer doesn't help either, the guy is sleep inducing.

As for the tailgating, as I approached the stadium last night and saw Tailgate Park closed I was incredulous. Inside tailgating? I don't care how bad the weather is (and the weather was mild) - you tailgate OUTSIDE.

The incompetency extends beyond the football field in Laramie.

I'd say all in all it's pretty obvious the people calling the shots have little to no experience with what goes on in other programs.

We need some BCS-level production talent and the rainmaking fundraisers to boot.

Buddy of mine was at Stanford/Oregon on Thursday night.. said Stanford was pretty underwhelming for pre-game stuff, and in-game.

The CJC has talked to me about doing some stadium announcing. I wonder if I can talk them into giving me the football gig?

Do it. But AFTER project clean-sweep.

The whole AD department needs to be changed over. All of them. Except for Adam Wadell & Kevin McKinney, and several of the support staff.

Yeah it's time for Jack Nokes to hang it up, and yes it truly was like a ghost town on Saturday night, I have an idea, black the game out in Laramie proper...lol

I helped him out during the 1990 Cowboy Shootout. I even met Tim Ray and Benny Dees during that tournament.

Saturday was the first time in ages ESPN was in Laramie....and the atmosphere was a little disappointing. Felt like I was watching a game in Ruston, Louisiana but colder.

LOL I felt like I was watching a high school game in Alaska!

I've been saying the same things for a long time. It needs a lot of work, but nothing ever changes. But...

Didn't they just upgrade both of those a year or two ago? Can't remember for sure, but I thought that had been done.

And yes, as a former band-geek:

GO POKES!

The Family Guy crap is very annoying, irritating, loud and just plain stupid. That goes for the "You Who" after a score or good play. (Of course that doesn't happen much) It's embarrassing. STOP IT! I have no problem with the stadium announcer but I confess I never noticed the "Gulf Coast" gaffe.
