Last 8 prediction

I think the last 8 we go 5-3 to finish at 25-6, 14-4, very respectable season going into the tournament. I sure hope I'm wrong as 28-3 would be epic, but we can't win em all, and hopefully we FILL the AA these last 4!!!

@SJSU, should be a road win
@UNM never an easy place for us to win, i see a hard fought game but the Bozos get us
AFA at home perhaps our 1st sellout in many years in a Saturday and we take it to the Zoomies
@CSU, at the Whale, I'd love to go but I see the sheep getting their revenge on us
Nevada on a Saturday evening could setup for another sellout and we beat em again
SDSU, week night make up but we find a way
@UNLV, we never play them well out there and slip in this one, unfortunately
Fresno St, last home game and last regular season on a Saturday again lets Pack the AA send our boys off right to make some noise in the tournament!!! Man just a year or 2 ago we were begging for 10 wins funny how time flies. Would love to read others comparisons!!! Go Pokes!!
 
As tempted as I am to predict a run through the rest of the season... I'm with you, don't see it happening. This is a tough, well coached team that will be right in every game but to win four like we just did takes just a little luck. A missed shot by Wyoming here or there, or an opponent making just one more play and those last four games go the other direction. It's really awesome that they won, but I've got to think we have two to three more conference losses in us. I'm guessing 26-5, 15-3
 
I think we drop one or zero. This team just wins the close ones. It’s not luck. If red hot byu jr. couldn’t take us down last night with an extra day of rest and all the crap that went down… man, it’s going to take something special from someone. It will take an A++ game to knock us off. Is anyone up to the task? We’ll find out. I kinda doubt it
 
Just for grins, here are the matchup predictors from ESPN:

@SJSU: 86.2% chance we win
@New Mexico: 77.0%
vs. Air Force: 96.5%
@CSU: 34.2%
vs. Nevada: 86.4%
vs. SDSU: 52.3%
@UNLV: 36.1%
vs. Fresno: 62.9%

If we go by those numbers we're looking at 6-2 to end the year, which I think we'd all be happy with. Sheep, Rebels, Aztecs, and Bulldogs will all be absolutely huge games.
 
CSewe at the whale is going to be tough. I’m not sure the Pokes come away with a win there. That said, the Pokes definitely have a target on their back. I say we lose two games through the rest of the season.
 
The thing we absolutely HAVE to do is hold down home court. NO ONE come into the AA and beats us.
 
Those ESPN matchup predictors don’t work very well. They have had Wyoming predicted to lose every road game and have been wrong obviously multiple times.

I can say, if Wyoming loses 3 more games they will be flirting with not making the tournament, so you better hope they don’t lose 3 more games.

I think at the very most they could possibly lose 2 and still probably be confident they are in, depending on who the losses were to.

Just be best to lose at most 1, to like CSU on the road or not lose any. At least CSU wouldn’t be a bad loss.
 
Im only thinking off my feeling and no stats etc....i really think we are an at large for sure, BUT to put it all to rest lets win that tournament to be 100% sure

I agree that we are largely the very engaged fans but strongly disagree that suggesting to 'pack the AA' has no place on here.

I look at it as trying to get the word out to recruit our various friends/acquaintances to the game. Over the past several years, I can't say that I really encouraged those folks to go to a Wyoming basketball game. I went to a few but can't say that it was really a priority of mine either. This year and especially the past few weeks, I've been doing everything I can to encourage the 'casual' fan to watch this team and show up to the games. It is those people that don't realize how good this team is and this is an appropriate place to encourage that kind of marketing.

Frankly, I have read the "pack the AA" line here probably 15 times this season. I guess I am just over the mommy-ing. Call it age I guess. When posters here have the means to be at the game, they will be at the game! If anyone here at wyonation.com needs to be reminded to pack the AA, they either need to be hit in the head with a hammer and nut stomped, or they aren't fans in the first place.
 
I agree it does need to advertised here to pack the AA as well. Every little bit helps breathe life into a building that has been way too quiet for far too long. If we built it they will come, it just needs a shot in the arm every now and then!!! Keep it up fellas, Go Pokes!!!
