Larry Nance...

f$#%!!!! Being a Poke fan is so damn hard, everytime something good happens it is a big kick to the balls.

Nance has been my favorite player to watch since Marcus Bailey. Here is to hopeing a speedy and full recovery. No matter what, this team has no quit and I will be behind them.

It's time for the rest of this team to grow up a bit and become men. We saw Sobey grow up last night, it's time for Sellers, Halderson and the rest to do the same.

What is up with Halderson? Has he played a single minute?

He is the official "Baby Giraffe" of the team.
Yep. Seems to me that the kid didn't put in the work in the weight room in the off-season that he needed to. Too bad, we could really use him right now.

Bets of luck to Larry. That's a huge blow. Reminds me of Chuckie Keeton's injury....not only is he out for this season, but no guarantee he will ever be 100% next season too. This program cannot catch a break.

Do we rely on Sellers a little? I think he can be good enough to score and rebound a little. Him or Haroldson are going to be thrown in to the fire

Man. Poor Nance, that has got to suck. Wish him the best of luck with his knee.

And is it just me, or whenever we get a really awesome player coming into their own, they get nailed with a nasty injury? Nance, Afam, Bailey....

Saying Nance didnt hit the gym and that is why he has this injury is a total insult to Nance. Adrian Peterson had this injury too. You don't think he hits the gym enough?

Don't know how reliable it is, but I was told Halderson has been dealing with an injury for the past month and half. He could play if he had to (which is why he is suited up), but it is some nagging injury that really limits him. He wasn't getting any PT before the injury either so it probably didn't matter much.

My gym comment was in reference to Halderson. Nance has absolutely put in work in the gym.

I think WYO1016 was referring to Haldorson not hitting the gym enough - not Nance.

You guys counting on Sellers to replace Nance are on drugs. If you really believe that, ask yourself,"Have I seen Sellers play?" If the answer to that is yes, then ask yourself,"Then how can that be?"

I misread then, my bad.

But yeah, Haldorson seems pretty skinny still.

I was watching when LN Jr. was injured. I feel so bad for him. I enjoyed watching him play.
I hope he comes back really strong.
And he's cute too. I bet he would love to learn to speak Italian.

Damn.

I am actually visiting my folks in Wyoming (first time back home in far too long) and this is one awful, awful homecoming. I was home on winter break my first year at Oregon when Marcus went down - I was listening on the radio and I could tell right away from Dave's call it was a bad one. I barely slept that night. I could tell this one was bad too and I barely slept last night. These last three major knee injuries (Larry, Afam, Marcus) have just been unbelievably devastating. Guys who are everything you would ever want in UW basketball players and guys who were the heart and soul of the program. Jesus.
