we haven't seen these type of recruits come to Wyo in a long time
You know, really, we haven't. Why couldn't McClain or Schroyer get it done? McClain did get a couple good guys, but then failed to elevate their games while they were here.

As true as that may be, and I so hope you are spot on, we really don't know yet the impact these recruits will have on this program. Nor how they will ultimately compare to the impact players from Shroyer and McLain's teams.

I have my fingers and toes crossed though and will once again, as I do every year, try to move my season tickets down a few rows.

No matter who Shyatt recruits, next year will most likely not be sterling year. Shyatt
doesn't think so. Burman doesn't think so. It would be nice if it is, and they will work
for it, but next year is considered a "building year".

Nance may be a good pick up.. but he isnt even ranked on rivals or espn

true but then he only has about 10 D1 offers. Including Michigan and Oregon.

show me where he has offers from Michigan and Oregon. I cant seem to find that info.

From Cowboy Altitude here is the Quote

"Michigan was very high on him but they ran out of scholarships available. Nance is also set to visit Oregon as well. The competition for Nance is big but Coach Shyatt and his staff have shown that they can bring in quality recruits like they did with Lekan Ajayi."

So maybe not a formal offer from Michigan but you don't go on a visit without an offer from Oregon

Some info from Michigan Recruiting

(my guess is that if michigan had another scholarship or two for 2011 he probably would have signed there)

I like what Shyatt and co. are already doing. They are already worlds better than "He who shall not be named" in recruiting, and the way Florida's defense has been over the last several years, I think we'll see substantial improvement on the court as well.

Here's to bringing back the Dome of Doom for the Cowboys!
