Nance playing again tonight in about 30 minutes for the Lakers in the summer league playoffs first round. They play the Dallas Mavericks.

Cream rises to the top.

A bunch of young kids trying to make a squad aren't interested in making the extra pass. They are interested in themselves.

Larry will be given the chance to earn it in the regular season. He is not a UDFA, or even a 2nd round pick. He won't be given the benefit that the lottery picks will have, but he will still get his chances.

You have the best hustle and probably rebound man on the bench for the final min of the game and lose it. I don't get why they would have Nance sitting out when it counts the most unless they just don't care if they win.

Some really shitty ball handling by the Lakers in the final 3 mins of the game a lot of turnovers just off the dribble alone.

Nance is going to have to start hitting that open jumper sometimes or he won't be seeing anytime in regular season games.

It is already going to be hard for him to get minutes as it is since he doesn't even start on the summer league team. The 5 guys starting will see minutes plus then you also have Kobe, Hibbert, Bass and Lou Williams they just signed. That's 9 guys right there that will see playing time before Nance does even if he starts hitting that jumper. He will just have to keep working hard and see if it is good enough or not.

Lakers offense is horrible though. Not sure what Byron Scott is trying to run there even though it is just summer league but it is pathetic. Lakers were the lowest scoring team in summer league.

When I watch the Lakers in these contests I think of pick-up games in a scruffy court down in the hood.
