larry had a pretty dominant performance in scrimmage

He's playing much better tonight. The announcers and even the Lakers fans are getting into Larry tonight. It's the Larry we all know and love!
 
Yep . He just had a block shot and that put back jam . Did you hear the Lakers fans chanting his name? Pretty cool. Think he will be fine. Just needed to get used to everything.
 
Well the Larry chants were at least converted Wyoming/Laker fans. We still travel well and lots of WYO faithful live or can get to Vegas pretty easy. Just shows where Wyoming basketball is going with Shyatt at the Helm.

Did Larry take any shots other than "opportunity shots" like put-backs or quick shots off a rebound? It's almost like they told him he was the designated rebounder, blocker, and screen man, not a set-play shooter.

He took one jump shot but that's it. They aren't ever going to call any plays for him at this point and they already have a lot of scorers on the team so his job isn't to take shots . He is going to have to play the way he has for now.
 
Announcers even mentioned last night that Nance is not a guy they will be drawng set plays for. At this level he is has more of a roll that DC had...energy, clear the boards, opportunity baskets type stuff.

A good article about how Larry is becoming popular amongst Laker fans. It seems like our Vegas Cowboy fan base has passed the Torch of "Larry, Larry, Larry" straight on to the Lakers.

Just saw the stats.

He had the most playing time on the team tonight. I think that is the most important stat.

Played about 27.5 minutes. Scored 2 points, 6 rebounds, a few steals. Ended up with a +2 +/- which is another good thing.
His role is already clear: Energy and hustle, just play and help the team.

Now I hope his scoring touch comes around a little bit just to help secure some immediate meaningful playing time come regular season.
 
Yeah I watched the game.

He didn't play very well .

BUT the whole Laker team looked terrible last night so it didn't really matter.

He got some rebounds and a couple of steals but hit shot was off. He had about 5 open looks for jumpers and missed every single one of them. He is going to need to start knocking that shot down when he is that wide open.
