larry had a pretty dominant performance in scrimmage

I saw the video on reddit. On my phone, kinda hard to track it down for u guys. Its a 6 minute video... he was kicking ass, this was today

Lakers play Minnesota tomorrow 630pm. Might be on the NBA channel
 
The best part was reading comments and seeing the Laker fans eat some crow over Nance. Most, if not all, seem impressed with his athleticism. He had a few rather nice put-backs. Man, are the Laker fans in for a treat!
 
I'm excited to watch Larry in the summer league game tomorrow. Lakers should dominate the summer league with the team they have.

Think Larry is going to be a good NBA player because of his work ethic. Going to be rooting hard for him.

I've always hated the Lakers. I am a huge Chicago fan but I am probably going to have to adopt Lakers as a 2nd team with Larry on it and watch the games to watch him play. He looked good in that video.
 
Ya I was bummed out when he got drafted by the Lakers because usually I watch games with my roommate just too root against the Lakers but I'm going to be rooting for them now because you can't root for Larry to excel without rooting fur the Lakers to win.

Pardon any typos I'm sitting in the bar typing this and I've had one too many.

I woke up this morning and checked my email and what do ya know, I get an email from NBA.com saying I get a free trial to watch summer league games.

Talk about the perfect day to get it .

Lakers plan to officially sign D'Angelo Russell + Nance Jr. shortly before their summer-league opener at 5:30. They can then play vs. MIN.
 
Nance 4 fouls in the first half.

He had to sit down because he got hurt and tweaked his leg. Looks like maybe his growing muscle but not sure.

He has 1 point on a free throw and is 1 for 2 from the line. He has 1 rebound and 2 turnovers also.

He is very active. Just not the main focus on offense but he is doing the dirty work. Needs to not foul so much though :lol: He is hustling his ass off though.

Not as many typos as there usually is. It seems more coherent........for some reason.

That's going to be his role at this level, and it's a role he's well-suited for.

Yeah for now it will be. I think if he works on his shot he can be a lot more than just that. He is more athletic than a lot of guys out there. Just needs to work on his mid range shot and his 3 ball.
 
He had a chance to posterize someone early in the game yesterday but was fouled.

BTW Game 2 is 6:30 your time vs. the Sixers

Yeah I saw that . He got fouled pretty hard.

Randle I don't think is playing tonight so Larry should get a lot of minutes tonight assuming his knee is okay or whatever it was he hurt.

The game is actually at 5:30 my time since I am in Seattle :D

But yeah for all of you guys in Wyoming it is at 6:30.

They are playing Philadelphia and Okafor.
 
Hopefully he's good to go tonight, I haven't seen any updates. Playing against towns and okafor on back to back nights will give him a pretty good preview of the western conference. He might face Duncan and aldrige on Sunday night, Griffin and Jordan on wednesday, Dwight Howard on Friday night, demarcus cousins on sunday, and Randolph and gasol on tuesday, then anothy Davis...

I totally just made that schedule up, but the point is there won't be any easy night for him in the nba, especially in the west. I hope larry plays with energy and athleticism, but not out of his comfort zone in a way that can lead him to getting injured. I'm hoping for a big night tonight if he's available!

Yeah and Towns and Okafor aren't even close to as good as he will see in the western conference at this point in time.

Larry didn't have to guard Towns at all last night. They had Black and Upshaw on Towns. Larry seems to guard the 3's and 4's depending on who is on the floor.

He does need to play under a little more control . Last night he got 4 fouls in the first half and 3 fouls in the 2nd half. Luckily in summer league you get 5 fouls each half. Hopefully it was just some nerves and he will come out and have a better game tonight.
