Petras didn’t have stellar numbers, and is equivalent to what we had in terms of completion percentage, but I am intrigued by Padilla, whose dad was a Sheep. I think we recruited both and obviously Polasek would know them and they him. Who knows.

I think the best way to evaluate these QBs is to look at who is actually starting for the schools they're leaving. If the starter is borderline, then I think the transfer might not be great. If we could find a guy transferring from a school where they have an entrenched superstar at QB, we might be able to find some talent there. I don't know the situations of the players you all mentioned. Of course, any P5 QB could be an upgrade. We only need to win 2 games next year, CSU and Utah St.
