With the high amount of athletes smoking it......I don't think I've heard of one person suspended via NCAA (schools do individual tests but referring to official NCAA positives). Actually I rarely hear about any positive tests (FL QB).

And you won't hear about them unless the school or athlete decide to make it public knowledge. These suspensions do happen but they are not made public because it is A) still protected health information and B) an eyesore for the team/school. Also, a lot of Division 1 school do their own institutional testing and catch these offenders before the NCAA does. The school would have less stringent consequences than the NCAA does.

Apparently Alabama has offered Mr. Kongbo. I'm starting to think it wasn't just grades, but someone convinced him that he could land in the SEC if he peaced out on Wyoming.

I can see that....but how would anyone know? He never took a snap at Wyoming...but sure as hell used a scholarship.

This bothers me...a lot. For some reason I can't just let it go - too much pride in Wyoming maybe. I felt the same way with Shamwow Gary, Josh Doctson, and several others (ACS somewhat as well). And even some that didn't pan out like David Tooley, Adam Pittser, Chris Stutzwhatever, etc.

So did the coaches know this at all or were they surprised...........I would argue coaches should be aware and do what they can to avoid it. Find out why, etc.

Kongbo has been offered by all of the SEC teams at this point I think. He knew what he was doing....one year of development at a JUCO and transfer up to a powerhouse. He is the real deal!

He knew what he was doing, and shit all over Wyoming in the process...especially when it came to the scholarship we weren't able to use that he took up. Not that I am bitter, lol, but I will keep my comments to myself until he commits elsewhere.
