We should seriously try and get Vic back. Guy can flat out coach Defense and is a players kind of coach. I like Marty English but he doesn't seem aggressive enough to step up and be the kind of D coordinator we need. A more trusted coordinator like Vic may make it possible for CDC to give up some control over how the Defense is run.

English can stay as linebackers coach, but I'm tired of seeing teams with a half decent run game get 5-6 yards a carry.

I'd like him to return, but not sure if it's in the cards or not. Not sure if we could come up with the money to make it enticing to him, not sure what issues would be encountered with English, and not sure if he has any issues with us.
