Kiss of death?

Holy crap! Talk about a two edged sword-I love the fact that the Pokes are getting all the national attention they are right now, but honestly it scares the begezus out of me. I really hope the Pokes don't get caught up in all the media limelight that is accompanying their phenominal start and blow a game they should otherwise win, especially starting tonight at home in the AA against a tough Boise St. team. Nothing would derail the great start to the season more than a loss in the conference home opener.
Here's to hoping the anylists that are picking the Pokes to be the last unbeaten team are right and it's not the kiss of death to this young, up and coming team. If they can keep from reading their own press clippings, this team could be really special. I think that Shy will keep them in line and focused, because he's been around the block a time or two.

I don't think it matters. Coach has them focused. I think the kiss of death might be Martinez being out and that being exposed tonight but I'm hoping that doesn't happen. This will probably have to be Coach Shyatt's best coaching job this season tonight if we are to win without Martinez.

Kiss of death? No. Just a badly needed wake-up call. This team was begging for a loss.....better it comes now.

it's surely not a kiss of death, you can't defend a buzzer beater, they happen all the time, now what's important is how we bounce back from this devastating loss, but I have faith in this team and coahcing staff, let's win at Nevada and Fresno to take away some of this pain at a loss at home. Loved the energy in the AA last night, here's to more fun along the way....disappointed yes, but again let's take positive from this and see what we do from here! I fault Martinez's stupdity to get himself involved in something that he had no business being involved in in the 1st place, hopefully he learns a valuable lesson and we see him step it up big when he gets back, Lord knows we need him!!!
