Chad writes up some questions that are going to need answered at some point during this basketball season. He's ready for hoops season!

I really think the question that matters most is how they use Adams. He is going to play 30+ mpg. Will he be surrounded by which group most often? Do they go really small (Lieberman, Conway, Washington) or will Wyoming be a big team (Marshall, james, aka gorski, McManimal).


I really hope they can redshirt Conway, use Lieberman as a 6th man, and play Washington sparingly.

With 2 out of 3 of dalton, naughton, and moemeka at least being ready and that's a huge, and difficult to cover MWC team.

I think against certain opponents and certain situations you're going to see Shyatt attempt both. Ultimately its going to come down to who compliments Adams the most and give the highest chance to win games. I would prefer Conway to redshirt as well. I think Lieberman will see a ton of time and so will TWIII as long as he can stay out of his own head. If those two can get going, we'll be fine and will win a lot of games. Can you imagine if the Lieberman who played against CSU shows up every night? He played what, 11 minutes in that game and dropped buckets all over them! I am so damn excited for saturday to see how they're all coming along!

Lieberman basically won us the CSU game. I'm not sure why he didn't see more minutes last year. Must have been Shyatt didn't feel good about him on D. He would always play Bentz over him and I thought it was weird.

I know grabau's steadiness and esp free throw shooting was huge for last years team. But in terms of drop off from him I think it's important to remember Riley as a freshman and when you compare readiness and impact of freshman seasons between grabau's and liebermans freshman season I don't worry too much. Watching grabau's as a freshmen I did not think the guy was a d1 player.

If they end up starting a small in the backcourt with Adams over Marshall or gorski or mcmanaman I hope it's Lieberman over Washington. I like the fit w Adams better.
