Kegs and Eggs goes to a "no tackle practice"

Football's popularity grew because of the unique way that we looked at our hero's as gladiators in an arena willing to risk their bodies. UFC has taken that idea and grown it into one serious $$$ maker. When we take away that aspect of the game, it no longer is football. We can call it whatever we want.

Now I'm not disagreeing that football causes long term brain damage, I have had a handful of concussions, most of which came in high school. But back in the 90's we didn't know about the long term effects of head injuries.

Football as we know it will develope the same type of fan as baseball has. With the average age of a baseball fan being 40+ years of age. Millennials don't care about football and the 4 hours it takes to watch a game. They want instant satisfaction, i.e UFC; Short attention entertainment. TV Markets won't mean shit for college football in 20 years, mark my word. Perhaps this will bring back the true student athlete and the way college sports was meant to be.
