Hell of an article in the paper about this, and the timeline that led to the hiring (and subsequent other candidates dropping out prior to the release). I was stunned they printed it.

This is UW's only shot at getting a qualified (and top notch) candidate.

I have mixed feelings on this. The current debacle certainly will take it's toll.

If I was a candidate, and currently employed, I would withdraw my name if it was to become public in a second.

Just as the past 2+ searches have proven happens.
