K-States New Football Facility

Their new facility is insane. I do like the uphill turf. I am against getting rid of the trees in front of the high altitude facility, but I do like how they incorporated stands into this project. Believe it or not, most college football facilities are better than the NFL versions. NFL is about money...not often do you really need to swoon a free agent with facilities. I've been told by a friend that Boise State's facility blows away the Seattle Seahawks facility.

I bet when it's all said and done, Wyoming's new facility > whatever the Denver Broncos have.

The Broncos just built a new indoor facility....the design was copied from Wyoming. I haven't been, but it looks nice on tv. I don't think Wyoming's is as good. Then there is Mile High.....which is pretty nice too.

Believe it or not, most college football facilities are better than the NFL versions. NFL is about money...not often do you really need to swoon a free agent with facilities. I've been told by a friend that Boise State's facility blows away the Seattle Seahawks facility.

This...NFL is all about functionality. They will have all the best equipment, but they don't need all the flashy shit you see in the video. I would bet 30-40% of what was shown (barber room, LED-lit tunnels, waterfall aquatic therapy, etc.) would never show up in an NFL facility.

As far as how will Wyoming's new facility compare... Well Wyoming's facility isn't just for football it is for athletes from all over to come train at for a high altitude training center so not really the same thing.

I looked it up and it said the cost for that Kansas St. facility was $65 million. So I would say since their's was about 21 million more than the cost of ours there facility will most likely be nicer. Unless Wyoming can somehow build things for 20 million less than Kansas can and I'm not in the construction field by any means but my common sense guess is that the cost of living in Kansas and Wyoming is pretty close so ours won't be quite as nice.
