Brown and Gold are Wyoming's colors, not black. Black has never been our color. The origin of the school colors? The brown-eyed susan, which was used for decorations at a banquet, the people there liked it so much, that they made the colors the official colors of the school. You want black, go to SDSU or something, but black has never been a Wyoming color.

Having a hard time telling if that's black or UW's super dark brown helmets from last season. @Utah State at night they almost looked black.

The helmet looks matte brown to me with the Steamboat logo used for the white helmets. I don't see black, so most likely a typo.

These are black but no worries. Never believe anything from Ebay. No chance it ever hits the field, trust me. The same guy lists a black Miami hurricane helmet and a white "tarheel" helmet. I am excited to see the digicamo steamboat decal up close. I'm not a fan of the uniform but the decal looks like it could be cool.

Why would anyone want a praire gold outlined helmet that doesn't resemble any helmets from the "praire-gold era"??

Never said it was a helmet worn by the Pokes...I have the Matte Brown helmet and that is the best helmet out of all the matte ones in college football
