I guess it really depends on what you think of your team. Are they the type that wants to compete and continue to play or do they not give a fuck? Clearly, some of us (me) were incorrect in our assessment of this group.

Well you don't have to think that far back. Just remember the 35-40 points losses under Schroyer.

And as bad as we played, it was still only a 16 point loss.That's one point worse than OSU this year or CSU. But overall, a loss is a loss and our season is done. And I have to agree, it was like we were playing 8 guys out their, those refs were horrid. How the hell was that a tech for hanging onthe rim?

Sobey had a pretty good head of steam going in for that slam. If he doesn't hold onto the rim for a second longer, he certainly may have done "The Waddell". Can't blame him for hanging a little on the rim, but it was a lame T, bottom-line. For whatever reason, the team looked disinterested and out-of-sync. Close the book on another season of bad luck for Coach Shy and look to next year.

Based on his post-game comments, it does sound like Shyatt thinks McManamen and Herndon can come in and contribute effectively next year with a year of seasoning behind them. We'll find out soon what the staff has in mind for that last schollie.

Not sure Riley will be in the starting mix unless his numbers start showing up. It may be that he starts, but spends most of his time on the bench. On the other hand I don't see Washington anywhere as a starter UNLESS
he puts in a balls-to-the-wall workout regimen (like Sobey did) in the off-season.

Agree with that. Whatever we may think of Riley's game (pro or con), it's very obvious what Shyatt thinks and he wants him on the court. He will be a starter next year along with Adams and Cooke and two players to be named later.
