if we stole one of those games on the road, we'd really be in 3rd place all to ourselves, imagine a wonderful MWC tourney run(which could still happen, by some miracle and faith), man to be snakebitten on that side of the floor where most injuries happen. we just gotta take them a game at a time and see what happens, but we truly need our fans to come out and still support this team at home and see where we finish. The UNLV loss is really hurting us right now.
As of now, we are tied for 3rd, but they have the tie-breaker.
Had we won, we would be 9-4, they would be 7-6, and we would have the tie breaker. That's essentially a 3 game lead on UNLV. We would have 3rd all but wrapped up.

UNLV is going to lose more games. Until we actually lose a game, I'm not giving up hope on that #3 spot. Even though UNLV owns the tiebreaker, I feel like the Pokes are actually in the driver's seat because of our easier remaining schedule. UNLV's remaining schedule is brutal.
