Junior's 116th ranked rush d against the 3rd rush O

A bit more color per Alex Taylor:

The Cowboys' defense through 10 games:
-131st in sacks (9)
-T-115th in turnovers gained (9)
-116th in rush defense (201.2 yards per game)
-115th in total defense (429 yards per game)
-108th in scoring defense (30.9 points)

Bang up job boys!

Jeanty will hit 200 yards on less than 15 carries and his day will be done.

Anderson will have a much bigger day than expected. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him throw for 300+ yards.

Final score will be something like 65-28

Wow . We suck

Yeah, I'd like to revise my estimate up...significantly. I knew we were awful, but the numbers don't like - we are whatever is beyond a dumpster fire on defense. Boize will have to throw to stop themselves from scoring. We might want a running clock in this one.

Yikes. With all of the complaints about the offense, the defensive numbers are terrible. If Boise is smart, they don’t worry about getting Jeanty yards. He’s only got so much stamina and I don’t care if he rushes for 250+ in his last few games, he isn’t getting the Heisman. No way they give that to a lowly G5 player (which is a shame), but if they want to make a run in the playoffs, he needs rested legs. Running backs can only take so many hits and make so many runs before you’re really putting them at risk of injury or running out of gas. As much as I’d like a miracle and a Poke win, it’s not likely. So might as well hope that the MWC gets into the playoffs and make a run. BSU has to give that money to the league so who really wins in the end? 😜

Jeanty has a legitimate shot at winning the Heisman.

It really all boils down to Travis Hunter. Right now, it is his to lose. But if he falters in these last couple games, Jeanty is really the only other deserving candidate. I'm not even sure who else would be in the running...Cam Ward?

BSU wants to run up the score as much as possible and will give Jeanty as many carries as he wants. Part of it is to try to move up in the polls and part to build some hype for Jeanty in the Heisman race.

I agree Travis Hunter is the best player but voters have not been too keen on giving it to anyone besides QB or RB

I agree, he had a shot. The Power 4 will never let a G5 running back win it is all I’m saying. I think he’s a tremendous back. However, Hunter, Ward, and Gabriel will have the best shot. If Oregon wins out, it’s Gabriel. If CU gets 1 more win, Hunter gets it. That’s my crystal ball prediction.

I don't get the regression in basic fundamentals.

Either way, looks bad for this week. Maybe Junior can finally prove his promotion was warranted. I hope so.
