Josh Allen Number being retired

Had Josh Allen been an NFL bust, this wouldn't be happening. He had 2 very good years with us. In 2017, he only lost one MW start - to Boise st.. He is a Wyoming hall of famer - even without his pro career. Because without him, Wyoming football might have stayed in the basement and Craig Bohl might have been out on his ear. Remember Josh's backup? We might have been a 2 win team for a decade.
Arguably, he is the most recognizable player in pro football. He's making 100's of millions of dollars. Retire his number. It's free publicity for the school. And who knows? He just might kick some of that money our way in the future.
Regarding other worthy players: Ryan Yarborough was a 2X first team All-American. He's the best receiver I've ever seen at Wyoming.

Indeed. Hindsight, if we were under the rules then, that we are now, just about any school in the nation would have been clamoring, cheating, paying $$$s to get JA17. Under today’s rules, he would be the one that got away. Can you imagine how we all would be feeling if he would have finished his college career at Clemson, or elsewhere, after a year at UW? Luckily, for lil ole UW we see him introduced now, as Josh Allen - Go Pokes, at the beginning of NFL games. NFL MVP, and I hope SB winner, soon. The lining of his jacket when drafted will go down as huge for the Pokes in my book. And I do hope he throws some money to leave a permanent reminder and legacy at UW, forever. My kids have no idea who Jim Kiick and Conrad Dobler are, only by my telling them. Heck they don’t even know who Mitch Donahue is and it doesn’t seem that long ago. Memories only last for a little while.

There's no one player that has done more to put the University of Wyoming on the map. I agree that his college career doesn't make a good case for a number retirement (and I would argue that #23 should be retired before any other number), but the fact that he continues to promote Wyoming publicly while being as big a star as he is makes for an interesting argument.
Josh Allen has become the face of the NFL. His picture is everywhere and he is proud to be a Cowboy.

This is my fear.
Looks like it is completely sold out. 3-game mini pack that includes the Nevada game is also now sold out.

There are probably some large group "party suites" still available but you have to contact Cowboy Joe Club to reserve those. I think they sell those in 10-person and 20-person varieties.

Can always hope for crappy weather and try to buy resale day before or morning of the game.

I am bummed because the only home game I am missing this year is the Nevada game because long before planned Thanksgiving travel. No way wife lets me out of this. Normally I’d just give the tickets away. But considering they are first row seats and the demand for this game, I’ll probably sell them on SeatGeek or something.
