Josh Allen: MWC Offensive Player of the Week

Well deserved. That dude is a man. He started shaky, with those two near INTs, but he took the game over and made the plays to lead the Cowboys to victory. Brian Hill is a stud, but as we saw last year, he needs help if we will have sustained victories. I would say help has arrived.

The WRs look much better as well.

Gentry being healthy is great. He is such a skilled receiver. Great off the line, sharp cuts, etc. There was one play where he lined up in the slot and juked the DB before making a quick slant. Turned into an easy reception. It was very reminiscent of a Julian Edelman (or Wes Welker) type of move.

Having said that, we basically had only two receivers contribute and we really could use someone that could scare the defense deep. As good as Gentry and Maulhardt are, they aren't big time down field threats.

I think it has helped having an actual WRs coach
