Josh Allen accepts senior bowl invite.

Josh will be one of 8 QBs at this game. Usually each QB for each team gets 1Q of play. I have not seen any speculation on what team he will be on.

Broncos are coaching the North and sources say Mayfield will be on that team. Would be good for the Broncos is Allen was on the North team as well.
 
I suppose I wasn't aware that he could be in the senior bowl since he was a junior this year (redshirt that is). Is it because he graduated at semester, or the fact that he redshirted that makes him eligible? Or can anybody go regardless of their year if they have declared for the draft and for some reason the senior bowl people decide to invite them?

Because he graduated.
 
The Denver Post is reporting today that Josh Allen is expected to be on the North team with Baker Mayfield.
 
Is this official? They're talking about it on Denver radio right now and said he hasn't made up his mind. Saying that him taking this long to decide is already affecting his draft stock, like he's afraid of the competition. Something doesn't smell right
 
As of today, he doesn't show up as accepting an invite on the Senior Bowl website:

There are also 7 QB's listed so who knows...................
 
That's very odd to hear that he hasn't accepted.

The reason he graduated early was so he can be eligible for the Senior Bowl.

I will do some digging.

Is it possible that he is still waiting on final grades? I could see that he needs confirmation that he did in-fact graduate before accepting an invite. Not everyone that walks at graduation actually graduates with a diploma.

Like me. I had to take one more class the following summer after I attended the graduation ceremony at ECU as one of the students. BTW, that summer school class was super easy. Got an super easy A. LOL :lol:
