Arrested for domestic violence. Unbelievable. Rumor was he was the front-runner to take over the team.

Pat said he wanted to keep it in the family. He put ownership of the broncos is in a trust and has it set up to transfer to whichever kid shows the most leadership capabilities. Im guessing Johnny boy is no longer in the running.

That being said, no one in Denver would be surprised if the Bowlin's agreed to sell to a group led by Elway. Elway can't afford it by himself so it would have to be a group.

Also, this makes 2 DUI's and now a domestic violence for Bronco's front office members in a little over two years.

Certainly Elway was no saint, but I don't believe he was ever arrested and definitely not for domestic violence. Let's try not to group a mischievous but harmless qb with a spoiled brat woman beater
