Jim McElwain: Indoor facility too small

If I were hired as the head coach and knew that an hour north at the main rival's school, they had a much nicer facility that was built before the one I was forced to work with, I'd be disappointed too.

I assume McElwein toured the facilities before signing on. It doesnt sound like he was paying very much attention. But then again, if you're only planning on staying for a year or two, why would you pay very close attention?

Or it might not have seemed like a big enough issue until you got 100 players in there and you realized just how much it was going to limit you! :)

imagine from his perspective

if the HC @ 'bama made a similar complaint how many donors would be tripping over each other to line up for the chance to build a new one?

they'd probably have one built by season opener

this could be his eye opening moment about how the rest of the country functions as compared to the SEC
