Glanville got his ass handed to him in the Big Sky.. man, he was bad. He even had Mouse Davis with him. They sure as hell could throw the ball, but they were a VERY penalized and thug'ish team.. led the Big Sky in personal fouls.

72, huh? Wow. Maybe we could implement the single wing with an occasional t-formation thrown in. Get back to the good old three-yards-and-a-cloud-of-dust days. Of course the forward pass might be considered experimental, but could try that once in a while.

I feel I should clarify.

I am not endorsing Glanville in any way by virtue of this post.

I simply thought it was an interesting topic to throw up on the board.

Interesting. Hadn't heard his name in a while. One would think Glanville and Mouse Davis would be a good combination but perhaps they were past their prime.

Ironically it was Bob Davie who came up with the zone blitz and disguised coverages that led to the downfall of the "true" Run n Shoot.

Something else to think about regarding Glanville....

He would want all black uniforms. Bye-bye, brown and gold!

Clearly we have a bias against age here. I am not a Glanville fan, but this comment is completely off-base and absurd given what we do know about Jerry Glanville.

If that's the case, then why do we just go after a current BCS coach. I guarantee we can lure him away from his current school.
Who might I be talking about, you might ask...

I'm talking none other than the great Charlie Wies at KU.

At least be serious Doc. We can all throw out stupidity. I think you are maybe trying to start crap on here.

Agreed, there is no point in starting a topic about an "available coach" if you don't think they are even a potentital candidate. Hell, I "want to coach" a college team too.

I know! Me too. And WYO has always been my dream job. I should've put my name on my list.
