Sunday morning I rode the elevator down with one of the WR recruits from Snow College. As soon as he said he was from Snow College I guessed he was a WR and told him we need all the help we can get and that we need you man. Afterward, I replayed the conversation in my head, so my fan elevator speech will be much better next time-more positive etc. I am glad to hear they both committed, otherwise I would have wondered if I could have made a difference with a better fan speech.
Off topic but.....If any of you stay in town over night for a game I strongly recommend staying at the Hilton. The morning of, you will see the players and coaches downstairs. I saw James Bates eating breakfast (you can tell he stays in shape but not very big), I even held the door open for Todd Christensen (didn't realize it was him until he was thanking me at the door-he had on jogging outfit w/ skull cap) Anyway, the Cowboy walk starts there, we got to see it start from inside the building and followed it outside, and we really enjoyed it. There were not many people around for the Cowboy Walk, and I think DC will find that so many fans come from out of town, that the fans for a noon game are still driving so the parking lot will be pretty bare for earlier games. Not sure if there is a fix for that other than playing later. We watched bball that night and saw a lot of UW dunks in about a 5 minutes stretch (UW win), then took our daughter to watch vball(UW win), so we got the bad taste out of our mouth by the time saturday was over. Still a nice family trip overall.
