Big Ben is the ONLY reason I frinkin hate the Steelers!!! He raped thaty girl. Anyone with a brain could figure it out. Only reason he's still a Steeler is that he's the ONLY reason they're any good!!!!

I actually hope he gets caught in Dallas doing the same thing next week.

I guess a lot of us were at the bar that night and saw what happened. Getting it on with a drunk girl when you yourself are drunk doesn't constitute rape. If it did, I believe most of our college campuses would be devoid of any males. As for the teams in the superbowl, one of them is getting packed Big Ben style. And yes Wyokie, they'll catch him doing it...to Rodgers on TV.

Were you sleeping during the investigation? Do you think the NFL gave Ben-The-Raper a suspension just because he is a fucking scumbag (and not a raper)? Why the big $$ out of court settlement and dropped charges? Etc., Etc., Etc. Drunk or not - one person or both...doesn't mean rape can't (and doesn't) happen. And that motherfucker put him self in that position...for the second time...in his illustrious career in the NFL.

DA in Georgia never filed charges against Ben. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=5078589

And as far as the No Fun League, they do fine guys for hitting "too hard" and using a football as a microphone.

You guys must be big fans of Kobe then and never met a crazy woman.

Give Cutler a break, without him they are not there and you tear your MCL and go play against the packers the guytook so manyhits over the course of the year and never once complained, his line sucked if im not mistaken most sacks in the NFL the guy is tough he didnt give up

I like Jay Cutler and I hate to hear the things people are saying about him. He tore his freakin MCL.. I'd like to see any of you play with that injury.

As a Vanderbilt fan he put that team on his back every game and I will forever be thankful for him beating the Vols in 2005. One of my most treasured memorabilia is the picture I got with him after that game.

Sprain, not complete tear. Not that it matters. But it looks pretty bad when you have a "tear" in your knee and you're standing and walking around the sidelines with no ice on your knee. In the biggest game your franchise has played in quite some time.. at home. The Bears are very fortunate that Haney almost bailed them out because it would have been much more brutal.

I wish we never traded him to the bears. He was a hell of a lot better than kyle orton

yes, he got suspended for "violating the personal conduct policy"

so, that's exactly what he was suspended for

and as for cutler, all he had to say was, "i tried to play on it, but my knee would not let me play championship caliber football." AND he should have been reviewing plays with his backups the rest of the game. using his experience and expertise to help them out, instead of wandering around the sideline like he didn't know what was going on.

Actually, a sprain can be a tear and depending on the severity could be a complete tear. Cutler had a Grade II sprain which means the ligament was at least torn but not completely. This could mean anything from a minor tear to almost a complete rupture. Also, if you have a Grade II or III (III = complete tear) sprain, you have to be very concerned that the ACL might be damaged as well. The only way to fully rule that out would be by MRI. As for walking around, walking on a torn MCL wouldn't be too difficult, but trying to run and/or move laterally would be very painful and dangerous (I.E. Bye-bye ACL). I'm not a big fan of Cutler but I do have a problem when people (such as the jersey burners) blame athletes for "pussing out" when they actually have a legit injury and are taken out by the coaches/athletic trainers.

As someone who runs road races for fun, it's amazing the injuries you can get where walking is not difficult but running is impossible. Icing an injury when it's about 15 degrees outside is probably not the best idea. It's not going to get him back in the game and since it's the last game of the season, recovery time is not an issue. I agree it didn't look good and his poor play when he was in made the whole situation look worse.

That was my biggest issue with the whole thing is that perception didn't do him any favors. Even when the camera was on him, he wasn't going over the playbook or anything w/ Hanie.. just standing there looking totally done with the situation.. whether he's hurt or not is a diff story..

I agree with that. Having had some experience with this type of situation, it was pretty evident when they iced his knee that he was done for the day.

He raped her just like Kobe raped the one in Colorado. Sorry but I hate the Pack and while Steelers are not my fav team either I won't cheer for the Packers.

I have a theory on Cutler and that theory is that he is not a winner. You can sometimes learn more about a QB by what they don't say and Cutler's body language to me speaks volumes to me.
Look at all of the great ones:

1) Peyton Manning Great Body Language/Always Communicating with people Super Bowl Winner/Perrenial Playoff performer
2) Drew Brees Rose Bowl WinnerAlways Active/Enthusiastic
3) Tim Tebow Enthusiastic/4 years at FLO National Championships/Winner
4) Joe Montana/John Elway/Steve Young/Brett Favre All Fiery competitors that wore their emoitions on their sleeve, and ooooozed confidence rather than Cutler's cockiness on the field.

Cutler played at Vanderbilt and played on horrible teams and is USED to losing. Players are always looking to the QB for signs that everything is under control and Cutler never seems to give off that vibe that they can win. Cutler always looks pi$$ed to me and looks like he doesn't have any fun. C'mon dude, you have a HOT girlfriend, you make millions of dollars, you live in Chicago, and you get to play pro football! Show people that your having fun and that it all matters to you!
