We could easily be looking at a 3-9 season now. Wins against Montana, FAU, and New Mexico.

Dont count that NM chicken before its hatched. Struggled with them when we had Smith.

I'm going with the notion that Bohl is a good coach and, beside QB, we return a lot of starters. Smith wasn't exactly lighting it up out there this year.

Receivers may very well bail also. Not to follow DC but because of the change in the scheme and without a prominent QB their role will be diminished. Remember WR are cocky, self fulfilling, arogant football players. Why would they stay in a system that is going to throw them a pass maybe 4 times a game? Bank on it...the prominent WRs are looking at other spread offenses to transfer to. Here is the thing...with the change in coaching I think the school has to let them transfer without penalty. In other words they could play right away. See ya Trey, Dom, Tanner G, Jailen.

i'm sooo frustated with this, and to go to Utah of all places, no loyalty to the program, no Cowboy Toughness anymore, I like the hire of Coach Bohl(i hope), but let's get real, maybe it time for us if this experiment with him doesn't work maybe then it's time for us to go to FCS ourselves, and focus on the D1 only in Wrestling and Basketball, and pour most of those resources into programs that truly want to try to win. I'm sorry about my rant but frustration running rampant here....aaargh

Pretty sure thats not true. They still have to sit out a year. The only way to transfer without sitting out is to graduate as far as I know.

I don't think he has to sit out, and he knows DC system inside and out. So it makes perfect sense because all Utah has left after their QB was concussion stricken last year are freshman QBs. Mark my words he will be the starting QB in Spring Drills.
