I'm still heading to Oregon. I'll definitely be drinking far more heavily this season.McPeachy said:zappinpoke said:But wait, Kirkegaard actually has a year of eligibility left as he never used his red-shirt...all is well...(sarcasm)
LOL. Anyone here that thinks Wyoming fans were out of control drunks last year - just wait until this fall.
Had planned on going to Oregon & Michigan State - I am slowly backing away from that.

That sound we all just heard was 2,000 season ticket holders non-renewing.

I'm going with the notion that Bohl is a good coach and, beside QB, we return a lot of starters. Smith wasn't exactly lighting it up out there this year.HR_Poke said:Dont count that NM chicken before its hatched. Struggled with them when we had Smith.WYO1016 said:We could easily be looking at a 3-9 season now. Wins against Montana, FAU, and New Mexico.

I'm sorry about my rant but frustration running rampant here....aaargh

Remember WR are cocky, self fulfilling, arogant football players. Why would they stay in a system that is going to throw them a pass maybe 4 times a game? Bank on it...the prominent WRs are looking at other spread offenses to transfer to. Here is the thing...with the change in coaching I think the school has to let them transfer without penalty. In other words they could play right away. See ya Trey, Dom, Tanner G, Jailen.

Pretty sure thats not true. They still have to sit out a year. The only way to transfer without sitting out is to graduate as far as I know.

And yes you can transfer without sitting out a year when your coach is fired, or leaves for another school.

I hope you are right... but there must be a way around it if Thompson is in Utah thinking he will start next year! Maybe because he redshirted this year???????

Where did anything say he thinks he is going to start next year. By transferring toUtah he will sit out next year then have only two years to play. Don't know how to get around it.
