This part is great...so are some of the online comments...
"Things became a lot clearer on Thursday in a story by Matt James in the Fresno Bee.
In his story, James said that Utah State athletic director Scott Barnes, who is a Fresno State graduate, said in a letter to Aggie supporters that the buyout clause and five-year agreement was something BYU wanted … that it wanted reassurance of stability if it was going to join the WAC for all sports besides football.
BYU knew fully well that if it lost the Cougars that the MWC would attempt to go back to the WAC. In essence, it was covering its own base at the expense of the MWC.
Somehow, that just doesn’t seem to coincide with LDS beliefs and the honor code. Where is the respect and honesty in that.
BYU may preach a code of honor, but it doesn’t quite live up to it when it comes to benefitting itself.
In reality, it is no different that the rest of us."
