It's Utah State week....nothing else matters.

Sounds as though the players and coaches are motivated to give payback for last year.

I just want them to remember how much losing to EMU hurt. Let's win, 1 point is enough.

The last time UW beat Utah State was in 2007. Nine seasons ago. And some of the losses have been the ugliest I have seen, including last year, when they ran up the score on us and rubbed our noses in shit.

Last year and the game in Logan when usu was still in the wac were downright ass beatings. The Pokes have to come out fired up and put this away early. The usu board seems to feel their team has quit on the season, and if we go out and punch em in the mouth the first half, we should be able to put them away.

Maybe the odds makers are looking at it thinking, USU blew Wyoming out the last few years and will keep it competitive in this game. They must not have watched the USU press conference from Monday. Those guys look beaten already.

Our guys remember USU running up the score and are looking for revenge.

I'm not a gambling man, but if I we're, give me that line all damn day.

I seem to remember last year - the game was 58-27. I was listening to the game on the radio. Dave was saying something like how coach Bohl was gesturing to USU's head coach about running up the score - something along the lines of - really, did you really need another touchdown? Then shakes his head at him in disgust.

If we are in a position to blow them out this year - I hope we don't. I'd like to see a nice, clean, decisive win, but there is no reason to run up the score just to run up the score. This isn't a video game. These are people.

Screw that! Blow them out! We're chasing a good bowl and we need some eye opening wins. They did it to us and would do it again.

There isn't a team in America who would take their foot of our throats and there is no reason why we should too. If we can win by 35, we better do it.

I so wish we would put the hammer down in the 4th quarter with a decent lead, but I just don't think it is in our make-up (coaching philosophy wise). If we have a lead at the start of the 4th quarter - of 3 scores, we will go uber-conservative and eat up clock.

On USU, I hope we do more than just "put our foot on their throat". The last few years, Wells has purposefully rant the score up on us. I think we should return the favor.

Running up the score implies one thing, that u have a comfortable lead late in the game to start with. We dont have the depth at certain positions to risk the injury of leaving the foot to the floor. Now if our backups can pound them to dust, so be it. It's a fine line, and revenge can kill a season.

One game at a time under the umbrella of winning a championship, we won't take that risk.

I hope we kick their arses clear up into their "sun don't shines" areas. But I don't think that's Bohls style so we'll just trust that Hill breaks big runs late for points.

How many hours before the game do the Pokes walk over from the hotel to the "War"?

2-2 1/2. When you see the band start to form at the back of the alumni center that will be the clue that it's coming soon.

Wyoming may have a hangover after the big upset win last week and Utah St. isn't as bad as their record. So it may end up being a close game.

With that said I hope Wyoming doesn't have a hangover after last week and we come out and kick their butt!

Would be horrible to lose this game after such a big win but also wouldn't surprise me. I think we will win though one way or another. Hopefully by quite a bit.

May be wrong, but I just don't see it. I believe Bohl understands that this could happen and has worked the week to prevent it. Hope I'm right.
