I did a blog. Read it. I'm probably more optimistic than you guys.

Nice work...slow and steady will win this race as the reclamation project makes it's way forward.

"NO! You have no right to be positive! Move to FCS or drop football after giving Bohl only 1 season and 2 games!"

That about cover some of the more "reactionary" guys here?

And I thought it would be a cold day in Hell before I would find myself agreeing with Dino of all people (thanks jerks) that Bohl is having to build this team from the ground up. I've been saying the first 2-3years would be very painful. And year 2 is quite painful so far. But with all the seniors we graduated last season and with how bare DC left us, there was going to be some serious growing pains.

Robert Priester whiffed on a ton of tackles yesterday. Wingard is the only guy on the defense that was tackling worth a shit yesterday.

This quote made me think of a Lewis black show in Laramie a few years ago:

Until then, step away from your 3rd story deck, step away from the edge of the tallest building in your town, take your head out of your barbecue grill, and look both ways before you jump in front of a moving bus. Better days are coming and the brown and gold bandwagon will be overflowing.

The guy that started before Lewis said something like:
It would be tough to be suicidal in this town. Not a two story building in site to jump off of.

This is really the best way I've heard it put yet:

There are still several bright spots on this team that should give fans hope that Craig Bohl’s system will work. The Cowboys ran for more than 400 yards against EMU, their highest rushing total since a game against San Diego State in 1988. Brian Hill accounted for 240+ of those yards, he’s a sophomore. Josh Allen looked terrific against EMU until he got hurt. He’s a sophomore and could very likely apply for a medical redshirt for this season if he doesn’t play again. That would give him two more years of eligibility after this season. Allen being in the game opened up the playbook so much more due to his mobility as a quarterback, something that Craig Bohl enjoyed at North Dakota State with Brock Jensen running the Bison offense.

It sucks - Josh is down, but keep these other guys rolling.

Gotta trust Bohl fot at minimum another year. I would definitely like to see some signs of hope next year. By hope, I don't mean wins, I mean that we shouldn't see this level of talent diference. We are currently at a dii level and that is worrisome. If that remains next year, then I'm not sure I'm on board with this 5-7 year nonsense. However, we'll cross that bridge next season.

For this year, I think Stanard should go and the sooner the better. If Burman can't find more money for a top flight d coordinator, then his seat should be heating up.

In the meantime, there better not be one damn comment about how we need more attendence. If you completely destruct a program to below fcs level, you better not expect people to spend hard earned money to watch that shit.

Whoa! Whoa! Now, since when were you on the 5-7 year bandwagon???

Always, if we see substantial progress. Never, if this type of regression continues. Pretty simple.

Hey guys. USU fan here.

I know this isn't my board. I'm only a guest here.

Man, watching you guys has been painful. It brings back lots of bad memories. I've been there. Just eight years ago, lots of Aggie fans were talking about whether or not we should drop to FCS. We were in the SI Bottom 10. There was no light at the end of the tunnel. Now, Boise is looking a little shaky, and there is a chance we can compete for the conference championship. We should be going to our fifth straight bowl game. If things fall into place, we could have 40 wins and 4 bowl wins in four years.

I mention all of this not to beat our collective chest. I'm just pointing out that things can turn around pretty dramatically pretty quickly. Don't lose faith in your program. Wyoming has too much going for it to stay down very long. Y'all are a great school with great traditions. All you need is a few key people with vision and drive. Rally your core fans. Put your arms around your players. They may not be what you would want, but they are the kids who show up, and who sweat and bleed for the brown and gold. Keep your chins up.

Y'all are my second favorite team in the conference.

You'll be back.

Go Pokes! Go AGGIES!
