It's better to lose with youth than to lose with experience

This summer, Craig Bohl shared with me some of the best advice he’s been given:

“It’s better to want something that you don’t have than to have something that you don’t want,” he said.

Two games into the 2015 season, Bohl has plenty of wants.

There is quite a bit in this article I disagree with but I don't think I'll go down that road on this one.

I appreciate the current and future players who chose to play their college ball at WYO.

“We got slapped in the mouth twice so far by two teams that arguably don’t have the talent we have,” Hill said. “We’ve just got to find a way to win games. We have the talent. We just have to put it together for a whole game.”

If we had more talent then we would have won pure and simple.

Better than what Bohl said after the UND game "We got beat by a better team." That quote mad me mad. I like the fact the players know they are better than they have played and are mad and want to change things. NOw the question is will they do it.

I'm trying not to be such a negative nancy but both teams were better than us. The guy sitting next to me at the game kept saying EMU was the inferior team, but how were they inferior to us?

There is a big difference between talent and experience.

I agree. But have you seen the talent that was better than UND or EMU aside from some select skill position players?

I don't want a player admitting that if it were true. I want them thinking they are better than they are showing and being mad about it so they will change something. rather than just say "well they were better...hope next week they aren't"(not saying thats what you want or anythign just saying I have not problem with hills quote.

Yeah I see your point. A defeatist mentality would just make it worse.

I do see a lot of talent on the field they just lack experience, Did you watch the Cowboys and Giants game last night? This is the point there were a number of plays that talented players were lost in the NFL on both sides of the ball.

Lucky Whitehead was confused and Romo had to point him in the right direction on two different plays. The LB for the Giants was lost numerous plays you could tell he was 2nd string and completely confused.

I see the same out of a lot of the younger players on the roster and I do believe with experience things will change but definitely not overnight.

Yes, I saw better players and execution along both offensive and defensive lines - and I saw better players and execution at the quarterback position (sans when Josh Allen was in the game) in both football games.

Strongly disagree. It takes more to win a game than just talent.
Sure. But I'm also pretty confident Ohio State's scout team could come in here without a coach and win...

So you are willing to bet that a P5 National Championship team has better backups then a G5 program sinking? What's the spread on that -500?
