Driving into Laramie tonight, it didn't feel like I was going to a game since it was so late. Have we ever had a home game start this late?

How late was that Utah game where the transformer blew? I mean, it was supposed to start earlier, but it didn't. :P

I think it was supposed to start at 7pm. 3 hours, thousands of angry fans, and some hot cups of hot chocolate later, the game finally started enroute to a blowout loss. :(

I just remember being crazy cold. And walking home after the game got out of hand. :(

I've never been so cold. That game sucked on so many levels.

yes it did. Cold, no lights-and we forgot to show up

If my memory is correct, we did win at least one thing that night. I'm pretty sure our cheerleaders beat the utah cheerleaders in the scrimmage during the stoppage before the game. After standing around in that cold for 2 hours, my girl and I headed to the Library, where we watched the first half in relative warmness. Pretty sure I watched the 2nd half from my room. That was definitely the latest start I recall for the football team.

The basketball team on the other hand had plenty of those "Big Monday" 10:15 PM tip times, which was awesome to be on ESPN, but sucked balls when you were part of the stadium clean up crew, and you were sweeping aisles until 2 AM.

I remember those "Big Monday" games. People that lived out of town and had to work the next day were screwed. Our home was a lot farther away than Cheyenne and we wound up only getting a couple hours sleep those nights. UW probably made some money on them, but they lost fans because of them.

Big Monday games were awful. Being in the band we had to be there. Guess who had a lab at 8:00 am Tuesday mornings...

but it truly was a beautiful night in Laramie saturday for football, considering it was Nov( i think..lol)
Agreed. My friends and I made that comment quite a bit while we were tailgating. I did get a little chilly after the sun went down, but not nearly as bad as you would expect it to be in Laramie in November.
