At least the NM Bowl is against a Pac12 team now, not a WAC team.
That alone makes it a much bigger game.

Yeah I fear that if Wyo DOES somehow make it past Hawaii and USU, they will get killed against Utah/Wazzu/Oregon State like the way they did against Boise or Fresno.

Just a total thrashing. And they won't be nice about putting backups in because it is the bowl game and will probably be mad about having to play a shitty MWC team.

You're right about this. No team will take it easy. The only game on National TV will be watched by future recruits. Every opportunity to make a good impression will be taken.

I think that is a no-brainer at Wyoming (going the JC route for football). Should always have a 50/50 class blend IMO at UW. It worked for the Erickson / Roach era - and well.

the only thing I have a problem with if we do let DC go, rebuild 2.0 yet again, but if it's time it's time, I just get tired of coaches lasting 5 years and then we have to start over again, and again, and again, but hey it's Wyoming. I think he's in over his head, he's a great OC just not Head Coaching material
