Is anyone really surprised at this point?

Sorry, UM and MSU might be in the same conference, but MSU loses to D2s. UM doesn't. Take another lap.

Not really true... but keep on it, dickhead. We all love hearing about your division 2 football team.

Wrong again  , you lost to NDSU. It amazes when you come south of Montana and north of Colorado, how stupid people are. Titlest, you're in Missoula, so that explains a lot. This is pointless to keep arguing with those who have their head so far up cowboy joe's ass they can't see the light of day. :brick: Keep the velcro gloves on your beloved sheep can't get too far way from your loving touch.

Cool dude.. we lost to a transition NDSU team. You lost straight up to Chadron State, and countless others. I'm in Missoula, yes, where civilized people live, unlike that cow fucking, imbred town you just left a few hours east of me. And if Wyoming people are so "stupid" as you put it.. why are you now attending school there? To show everyone how "smart" you are. Keep diggin', Cat. I can do this all day.

But please.. keep talking and telling us how great the Montana State Community College is.. maybe you can tell us about how to properly raise a bovine or how to make our own meth.

In fairness, since we are discussing MSU athletics, aren't they more into cocaine nowadays? Well, that and murdering rival drug dealers.

Hey Mr. Titleist, all it takes is

How stupid are you? You are throwing the same arguments at me which you just discredited. Do you have any clue as to what circular reasoning is? I really do feel sorry for, it must be hard going though life being so out of the loop. I forgot what a top-rate education facility missoula is (graduating from UM is the equivilant of being the smartest kid with Down's). It always amazes me what douchebags live in missoula (you and donald malloy are right at the top).

Simmer down, dumbass. Why aren't you telling us how great of an education you can get in Bozeman? Did they throw you out of there? Now that's why you had to limp to Wyoming with your tail between your legs? Or did you find out that your degree in Bozeman will only get you a job at the local mac shack? Personally, I'm always amazed at the number of toothless yokels that live East of the divide up here.

I should also add.. my degrees didn't come from UM..

Don't you have to go back to telling us how great MSU football is? I don't think we've heard quite how great it is. Since we don't seem to know what good football is, I'm sure you're just bursting at the seams to tell us how terrible our football program is and how great MSU is.

Hate to break it to you, but every degree (except nursing, teaching, engineering) is basically worthless now with the influx of retards into college under the idea that "everyone should get an education." What gives you this idea that I have a cow-shit major? The college of ag is a joke at MSU and UW, and any one who majors in something related to that if wasting their money. If you want to rip on ag, you're talking to the wrong person, I'll be right there with you.
On the football point, at each's respective level, MSU has had more success than UW by far. 3 national championships and a number of conference championships. MSU still has more championships than Um. UM has more conference championships though. UW hasn't won a national championship, and maybe two conference championships. It's impossible to know if MSU would've had more success than UW if they were at the same level since they weren't. Given what they've done in their respective levels, MSU and UM are leaps and bounds ahead of UW. Hell, Idaho St. is too.

Teaching is basically worthless.. they aren't compensated anything, especially in this state.
You need to re-examine conference championships again.. Wyoming's got at least 5 that are not shared, and two that are shared. They were also the Mountain Div champs when the WAC was broken in two. Wyokie can give a lot better history of this than I can. There's a championship history on the menu bar above you under Cowboy sports.

We won the 1996 WAC Pacific Division. BYU was one that won the Mountain Division that year.

Titliest is right on with the 5 outright WAC Championships and two shared (1976 and 1993).

We're also the first WAC team to ever play on New Year's Day, 1968 Sugar Bowl. BYU, Boise State, and Hawaii are the only other three WAC teams to do the same thing. Four if you could in Air Force but they played in the Cotton Bowl long before they got WAC membership starting in 1980.

The point I was making about teaching is that one can get a job with a teaching degree right out of college. I agree that compensation is a joke, should'nt be this way, but that's the way it happens I suppose. Thanks for the info on the conferene championships.

So you won a couple of fluke games? That's the exact problem I'm talking about. Look at how the seasons turned out... 5-7, 4-8, and the 7-5 (2004) year where you beat UCLA, you seem to have forgotten 31-0 smackdown against Texas A&M. But why stop on these years, lets look at more in this decade: 2002: 2-10, 2003: 4-8, 2005: 4-7, 2006: 6-6 (Hey you reached .500), 2007: 5-7, 2008: 4-8 (but that's okay right, because you beat Tennessee and you played the tough schedule of UNM, Bowling Green, and NDSU), 2009: 7-6 (the only talented team you beat was Fresno, and 9 times out of 10 you would have lost that).
Overall record since 2002: 39-57 (Steller!!! No doubt the backbone of the MWC)
There's no way to say "if MSU played that schedule, they would've lost them all." You can't say that, they didn't play that schedule. And if you all feel the need to defend your program against "a lowly FCS school" you obviously have much deeper insecurities than meets the eye. Must be there is some shread of truth in my contentions...
Fluke games? Really? you beating CU 19-10 was a fluke game. Holding Tennessee to only 7 points...Not so much. holding Virginia to only 3 points...Not seeing a fluke. Holding the best RB in the nation out of the end zone for a four down goal line stand... Not a fluke. Son, let me educate you as to what a fluke is. A fluke is being down 27-6 in the fourth quarter and scoring 21 unanswered points to com from behind for a victory. A fluke is something that becomes an accidental advantage. Sorry Cowboy fans, but SDSU was a stroke of good luck for us last year. I just don't see something like that happening for a long time again. MSU hunter. that is a fluke. Completely man handling Virginia and holding them to only 100 yards of total offense, not a fluke. Holding tenn to only 219 yards of total Offense, not a fluke.
Did i ever say anything about us having some bad games? Yeah Tex A&M beat us. BCS school and a better team than us. Does that mean we were supposed to lose? Not so much. We just lost. Does Michigan losing to App St. make MSU better than Michigan? Not so much. Yeah, 39-57 is not a winning record. But 2-0 is (bowl games) How many times has MSU made the playoffs? And how many times have they lost in the first round game?
First off, I never called us Stellar. If you actually read what i write you would see that i wrote that we were low to middle of the pack in the MWC. Secondly, I never called us the backbone of anything. So where you try to change things I write around is not working for you. But I can say one thing. I'd rather be 39-57 and losing to teams like Tex A&M and Utah and Boise, then to be 55-41 (yea MSU record since 02) in the same time span and beating nobodies and quite often losing to nobodies!
And i guess in the next nine years we'll find out if it is only 9 times out of 10 that we beat FSU. Won't we? But hey, at least they're a quality opponent. What do you have? the game your supposed to lose in WSU right?

Out of curiosity, where? I know a several teachers (with degrees AND experience) who have lost their jobs and are looking. Then again, they could probably find jobs if they were willing to relocate, which is easier said than done when you're not the primary source of income for your family.

Engineering isn't solid either, depending on your field. I know a mechanical engineer who's been looking for over a year now, although he's pretty picky with where to work.

I'm glad I have a Computer Science degree. My job's extremely stable as my company's doing incredible despite the crisis, but if I wanted to actually get a job that paid more (like at HP) there actually are openings now. With family and mortgage to worry about, stable is the way to go, though, even though more money's always tempting. Especially when we're talking an additional $30k/year... oh well :)

Dude don't tell me your this stupid? please? How can you say that UM and MSU is better if we cannot compare due to the fact that we're at different levels? This goes both ways. you just stated its impossible to know if MSU could be more successful than us since we're in a different level. But your still at your level, so how is any of the Idaho st's UM and MSU's leaps and bounds ahead of UW/ Because if we were in your level we might be the powerhouse. In fact we were at the same level from 1948 to 1961. Guess what? We dominated. 99-32-7. Played Montana 10 times and won them all. that's right 10-0. By a combined score of 330-47. Wyoming also played MSU 3 times in that span. Won all three. Combined score 155-25. Well, there you have it we played on the same level and we dominated you. The Skyline conference became the Big Sky.
