I read the paper version this morning and noticed it said Leonard Washington will be a senior. Is this correct because I'm almost certain he has two years eligibility left?

You are correct. Washington used his redshirt year while he sat out last year to satisfy NCAA transfer rules. This would make him a redshirt junior this coming season.
