Interesting how ndsu keeps getting QBs

I don’t recall us struggling to get QBs the last several years. Williams and Chambers are no Kirkegaard.

I'm sure I don't need to go over offensive stats since Josh and that's not all Vigen.

I should have qualified: struggled to fill that role with QBs who can complete 60-65%+ of their passes, have NFL practice squad-level talent or better, can threaten most areas of the field, and are upper level MWC QBs.

I'm hoping the lack of QB productivity was mostly coaching but we'll see. Regardless, I'd venture that the 2 ndsu alumns last night are more talented than any WYO QB in last 8 years not named Josh.

It is amazing the talent that NDSU has attracted and developed at QB recently. But let's be realistic, expecting Wyoming to attract and produce NFL quality quarterbacks on a yearly basis is not going to happen (nor is it likely to continue at NDSU). However and that said, I do believe Sean Chambers will be in an NFL training camp someday...just not at the QB position. I also believe that there is an outside shot that Williams could go down that path as a potential practice squad QB if he develops.

While we at Wyoming are apparently complaining at the talent of QB that Bohl has been able to attract...the rest of the world is amazed that we were able to produce a Josh Allen.

They get some decent P5 transfers (at least in terms of potential). This isn't so much a knock on UW as it is interesting how ndsu appears to be able to land these guys regardless of who the coach is. Coaches who leave ndsu aren't able to replicate what ndsu does. 2 top 10 qbs and 3 total qbs drafted since 2016.

Bohl has had more years without Josh than with Josh. The difference in what you are implying is that the QB position under Bohl has been feast or famine. Not feast or adequate. Hopefully it was all Vigen and not recruiting--we shall see.

The main point is that is interesting how ndsu keeps coming up with these guys regardless of coach and coaches who leave ndsu fail to replicate that.
