Watching him play hot potato as he ran out the back of the end zone against Iowa is hard to forgetMcPeachy said:CJ led the team in drops last year...just sayin. Will time off fix that?

from what I remember he did the exact opposite. Never broke a tackle or fell forward. He had like two good runs where my grandmother could have taken it to the house.OrediggerPoke said:LanderPoke said:They can't keep rolling with woods, can they? Oh wait Vigen is the ultimate decision maker
I would. Woods was switched to RB really late in the fall last year and didn't have the time to be properly prepared for the position (it was evident in some of his decisions). Woods tends to fall forward and get the extra yard. I really like his upside as a first and second down banger for 4-5 yards a carry.

Does your distaste of Vigen affect your day-to-day life? Seems to be the #1 thing on your mind at all times.
Well, the defense will get to rest for four plays before they go back on the field.LanderPoke said:I don't anticipate anything good on the offensive side of the ball while he's still calling plays

That was Overstreet.
I hope you’re right. The coaches seem to love him.OrediggerPoke said:LanderPoke said:from what I remember he did the exact opposite. Never broke a tackle or fell forward. His upright running style made it look like that but rewatch the games and see where first contact was and where the ball was spotted. If Woods develops the feel of where the hole is likely to open up (this comes with experience), he will be a monster in my opinion. My criticism of Woods was that he just didn’t have the feel of where the hole would open up or he would be way late getting there...this comes with experience.
