And there is why the NCAA tournament is a joke at times. The MVC is probably the worst conference out there right now...and Indiana State got "hot" beating the likes of Evansville, Wichita State, and Missouri State to make it to the NCAA's.

I would rather see all conference champions get the auto bid than having one with the resume to get in get left out because they're not part of a "big" conference. :twocents:

Then again, this is what the pageantry of the NCAA is all about. Teams who know what they need to do and figure it out through the season to become better.
You can't tell me you thought it was a joke when under McClain we were 14-17 going into the conference championship game against SDSU? We were only 5 points away from the NCAA tourney.
To me, this is why I like it, because out of the 300+ teams out there any team has that slim chance to stamp their ticket to the tourney.
