Playing time. Relationship with coaches. Possibility of becoming a star. Big fish in smaller pond. Knowing that he'll get noticed if he plays and stands out. Tons of reasons to play here

To be fair, he'll get noticed if he plays and stands out anywhere.

My biggest bet would be the coaches relationships.

But it's a lot easier to stand out at Wyoming than Michigan

Lol. :thumb:

He's only 5'7"...I don't care if he runs a 4.2 40, he'd get lost in the shuffle at Michigan...he'd be an important player at UW however.

If they know there are certain schools they for sure want kids will talk to those schools but not take a visit, if they are not sure about the school they will burn a visit. Know this first hand .

Being such a young team and playing 26 total freshmen, I bet a lot of recruits see it as an opportunity to play early which doesn't always hurt our chances.

I feel like having a senior heavy team with a lot of spots on the depth chart opening up is more promising to recruits looking for more playing time. If a recruit wants to play early, would he go to a school with a freshman contributing at his position or a school that will be losing their main contributors to graduation? Unless of course a lot of those freshmen playing aren't division I material.
