In case you young guys we're wondering, this IS Cowboy Tough football.

Over the past 3 true games, I have seen a total transformation with this UW team, since that debacle against Eastern Michigan, where I was calling for CB's head, I won't deny it. Something has truly changed and I am truly glad to see us destroy CSU, man handle AFA and this past trip to Reno this past weekend. Cowboy Tough is truly something I'm starting to get behind and see that with the right decisions things can happen here. This week will NOT be easy but after making that trek to Reno, I was 3 rows from the front on our side and I watched CB, there's great communication between the coaching staff right now and it shows. Besides the 12.5 hour drive home last night from Reno, this is turning into a fun season, keep up the awesome work Pokes
Yeah, the drive out to Reno sucks. Especially past SLC.

THE BEST run I've seen by a Cowboy back ever. I've seen the likes of Dabby in the 80's. The Rhino Christopherson in the 90's, Brigham, Seldon, Alexander, Moore. That was the toughest running I've ever seen in a Cowboy uni!!!

Anyone on this list could break a run at any time, but to gain 12 yards with defenders crawling all over you? Damn!!! Beautiful!

Agreed kansasCowboy, that was just an amazing run.

I really like Cup's analogies lately of Brian Hill fathering MW defenders babies.

After Hill gave him the gift of life, poor #5 sprawled on the 20 yard line there like:

(looks like #28 got some blowback too)

This thread in a nutshell:

Poster A: This team has achieved an abstract concept that is unquantifiable by any known means of measurement.

Poster B: Are you crazy, this team is nowhere near achieving that immesaurable abstract conept.

Posters C-Z: I think we're shades of gray on our way to that abstract concept...

I completely agree with you KansasCowboy - this is the definition of Cowboy Tough and it is one I won't forget for a long time.

Yep. I'm pretty sure the only reason he let those guys tackle him is that he was feeling sorry for them and he was about ready to puke again.

If you look up Cowboy Tough in the dictionary it has a picture of Brian Hill next to it.

GoWyo agrees with me. They seem to think we're Cowboy Tough.

I don't think there will be many people arguing that point after the Boise win.

In case we needed another reminder.....

Second half offense:
Wyo: 48 plays, 279 yards (20:59 TOP)
SDSU: 26 plays, 194 yards (9:01 TOP)

And half of that yardage for SUDS was in the last minute.

What a game.

Yep. Our o-line, other than the kid at right tackle on passing downs, had their way with SDSU's front 6 (3-3-5 defense) all game long. Rocky knew his defense couldn't hang on in overtime, and his offense had struggled to move the ball (2 kick off returns for TDs were the only reasons why it was so close all game). So I can see why he went for 2 at the end. But if I had been Rocky, I would have tried my luck with running Penny.

Down two defensive linemen and three from the beginning of the season, with little depth on the d line: Wyoming holds the NCAA rushing leader to 79 yards on the ground.

If that isn't Cowboy Tough, I don't know what Cowboy Tough is anymore.
