I feel pretty happy about our kicking game. Our punter's a true freshman, and place kicker is a true sophomore. Rothe has been pretty awesome this season with 11/13 and 20+ touchbacks, and the kicks he made vs CSU weren't gimmes considering the conditions (long was 43?).
Zaleski's been "iffy" at times, but when he hits the kicks right, they go far already. The 65-yarder yesterday was a beauty that completely flipped the field. I wonder if we'll ever see him on any trick plays, though. He was apparently a pretty decent TE in high school on top of being a punter. At 6'5, 215 lbs as a freshman, it feels like we should be able to take advantage of his God-given physical gifts in other ways than just having him kick the ball.
