Despite the loss to UNLV, this hobbled together team can actually play some basketball. I said earlier I didn't know how we'd win more than one or two conference games. Looks like we may.

I too was impressed with how this team has progressed. If this team had Justin Williams, it would be a sweet sixteen contender. With Ogirri, Afam, and Ewing, we have the best back court since Straight, Richardson, and Bailey. Johnson can play in the post with nearly anyone. However, we lost that game because we get nothing out of the Center spot. Waddell is very athletic, but he needs some seasoning. We give up to many points inside and too many offensive rebounds.
Overall, the team is great fun to watch. We need to pack the house this Saturday for csu. UNLV had over 17,000 screaming fans. It has to be worth at least 10 points. We need to support this team. This is night and day different than last year.
