There is a very big difference to what you have said to what I suggest: The Head Offensive Coach DOES NOT choose the Head Defensive Coach. They don't even have to know each other initially. The AD chooses each. The Defensive Coach can be replaced by the AD without recommendation, approval, or consent of the Offensive Coach (and vis-versa). Win and Loss credit? The team and school will get the credit. The individual coaches can make their cases individually about wins and losses to prospective employers, if a change is necessary.
